The primary goal of THE LEARNING PLACE, owned and directed by Glenn Rosenberg, is to provide an atmosphere that will enable students at various grade levels to achieve their academic potential. We believe that children are capable of "great things" with the proper support in a warm, welcoming setting. An environment that encourages a student to ask questions as well as feel that "this is a place where it is okay to work" is of paramount importance to us. THE LEARNING PLACE will assess a student's ability in basic reading, language arts, and/or math, and set expectations that address both remedial needs and enrichment possibilities.

The programs are skill specific and never lose sight of the daily challenges presented by new school work. We are aware that good study skills are vital for all students, and we use every opportunity to incorporate them into ALL of our programs. We want our children to feel good about themselves. The philosophy at THE LEARNING PLACE is simple: Competency Builds Confidence. It is our mission to deal with each individual child to build that competency.
THE LEARNING PLACE offers several programs to help your student achieve. We have a staff that is sensitive to the overall needs of the individual child. We know many children benefit from our low student/teacher ratio, and it is this luxury that allows our certified teachers to maximize the time spent with each student.
